Lucky Bamboo, scientifically known as Dracaena sanderiana, is not actually a bamboo but a member of the Dracaena family. It is a popular houseplant known for its attractive, slender stems and lush green foliage. Lucky Bamboo features long, slender stems that are typically straight or twisted. The stems are usually grown in a bundle, secured with a ribbon or other decorative material.
The leaves of Lucky Bamboo are small and lance-shaped. They are arranged along the stems and create a lush, tropical appearance. Lucky Bamboo can vary in size, ranging from a few inches tall for small potted plants to several feet in height for larger arrangements.
Watering
Grow in standing water. Change the water at least once per week to prevent the plant from rotting. It is a good idea to rinse the vase, pebbles, and plant each time you do this.
